Who We Are

We are a network of organizations and individuals working together to end abortion by restoring a culture of Life.

"The Negro cannot win if he is willing to sell the future of his children for his personal and immediate comfort and safety." — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., ("The Living King", Ebony, Vol. 41, No. 3, January 1986, Page 63.)

To end abortion by restoring a culture of Life and the foundation of Family in the Black community, we will promote traditional family values, from a Biblical worldview, to produce strong and healthy families where babies are safe and able to reach their full potential in life.

Through education and awareness media campaigns, public events, private events, political action, lobbying and the coalition building of Pro-Life and Pro-Family advocacy groups, we will restore Life, Family and Hope in the Black community.

Statement Of Non-Violence

The National Black Pro-Life Coalition, in line with Biblical teaching, unambiguously and emphatically rejects violence as a solution to the abortion crisis. Inflicting harm on any individual or property is not an acceptable way of resolving any social problem the American public currently faces. We respect and cherish the lives even of those with whom we strongly disagree.

No person who carries out, intends to carry out, or theoretically justifies any act of violence has any part in our organization or our efforts. Abortion is a violent reprehensible act that is carried out thousands of times a day. In our efforts to abolish this violence, we are committed to the pursuit of non-violence and will always advance a climate where that understanding is embraced.

Core Values

We believe we are all deliberate creations, of one blood, made in the image of God.
We believe the viability of a nation is dependent upon its value of human life in all stages.
We believe the foundation of a stable and healthy society is rooted in the marriage of one man and one woman.
We believe family is strength, marriage is between one man and one women, every child deserves birth and that every child should be protected by love and by law.
We believe children are essential and deserve protection, legal personhood, nurture, and love in the womb and throughout childhood.
We believe biblically based community is the visible expression of life.

What We Do

We have everything you need to strengthen your organization's outreach into the community of color.

Through our collaborative strategy of information sharing, education, training and community we are working to see abortion end and the sanctity of human life renewed in our communities once again.

We are committed to providing well documented, historically and scientifically accurate facts, data and information regarding the reality of abortion to empower informed decisions.

Training has to come after education. Collectively we are experienced in effectively communicating the Pro-Life message and are committed to making our experience available to others.

We believe the need for community is at the core of who we are as human beings and are passionate about providing a safe place for those who have been physically and emotionally wounded by abortion.
